This picture is of a statue.
I believe it is made of jade.
Can anyone tell me; what it is made of?
The name of the statue?
The name of the artist?
The name of the model?
When it was made?
And what idiot decided it should be painted.
Apparently the mermaids are now flesh coloured on top and light blue on the fins.

Again
The word `again’ is pronounce `a gane’ as in; `lane, `Spain `rain’.
It everyday life it doesn’t matter if you mispronounce it,
as long as people understand what you are trying to say.
However, when singing a song.
How many famous singers, in their hit songs have
mispronounced it?
Thus the song doesn’t run smoothly because the lines don’t
rhyme.
Such as, “We listen to the rain,
As it started up agen.”
Just a pet peeve of mine.
It surprises me that such errors were not caught before the
record was cut and distributed.

About 20 years ago we were on
vacation there.
I noticed a man with a sketch
book that had
been watching us for a couple
of days. On the
third day he approached me
and introduced
himself. He was the artist
David Rojo. He
showed me his sketches and
there I was turned
into a mermaid. He asked for
my permission to
use me as his muse on a
sculpture that the
municipality had asked him to
do. Unfortunately
David died a couple of weeks
ago, but I know
that he must be very happy
with what people
like you have to say about
his art. He was an amazing
man and wonderful artist.
