If you are one of the thousands who like to drive; to, or in, Florida you should take note.
In it's attempt to combat, illegal immigrants, and forged drivers' licences, the state of Florida now requires that all non residents have, in their possession, while driving, an INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE.
This must be obtained before entering Florida.
As a Canadian it must be acquired before leaving Canada.
The only place that will issue such a document, in Canada, is the automobile association.
It can not be obtained from the government.
The law came into effect earlier this year.
However, there has been no word of any officers enforcing it.
